KTS. Hisbah Board Incinerates Contraband in Daura Town

KATSINA, 29th February 2024 – The Commander General of the Hisbah Board of Katsina State, Malam Aminu Usman PhD., took a decisive step against illicit substances, leading a team in destroying alcohol and marijuana in Daura Local Government on Thursday.
During the disposal, CG of the Hisbah Board, Malam Aminu Usman PhD., commended Daura area officers for their commitment to apprehending these illegal substances. He also recognized the significant role played by Judge Zayyana Dan Ali in prosecuting all offenders.
Emphasizing the purpose of the Hisbah Board, Sheikh Dr. Aminu Usman Abu Ammar highlighted that Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda established this Commission to promote ethical behavior among the people of Katsina State and the broader Katsina state community. This initiative serves as a means to prosecute individuals apprehended for crimes within the country.
The items confiscated and subsequently destroyed included 160 bottles of beer, 50 bottles of wine, 50 Sholisho, marijuana, and 1500 other pills.
Notable figures offering their blessings included Judge Zayyana Dan Ali, Surajo Lawal Katsayal (Board Member, Hisbah Board), Abdulkadir Ibrahim (Daura Command), and Abdullahi Yusuf.
